August 16, 1918-My name is Zachary L. Brenner IV. I am 25 years of age. I have 2 million men in my unit. I'm a machine gun shooter. They are very fast.Fast like, 400-600 small calibre rounds per minute. If you ask me, thats real fast. C ompared to how we used to be, we are pretty advanced. We, the United States, entered the war this year. Mainly because Germany wrote a note to Mexico, and we read it. But there are other reasons too.
September 1, 1918-The United States joined the war because of the Zimmerman note. For those of you who don't know about the Zimmerman note, it is a note (of course), that Germany tried to send to Mexico. Yet, because Germany is so ignorant, Germany sent the note through the United States. Another reason I believe the United States joined the war is Germany's underwater submarines. Germany has these underwater submarine- type things and they blow up anything and everything. How rediculous is that? Women and children are dying from this thing. This underwater submarine has missiles and things like that. I believe President Wilson got furious and decided to strighten out the German's. It's just so funny that he's sending us out there and he's not going himself.
September 5, 1918- Most nations got in this war because of the assination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary or because their allies got into the war. But truth is, this didn't have to be war with all nations. It could have been one little war between two nations. Not seven. Technically it's six. But who's counting? Who really wants to die? Why would you want you to die? Or even kill people? I really don't know the answers to these questions. I don't think anybody does.
September 18. 1918- Doesn't every nation have battle plan to win the war? Like the schleffin plan. The Germans were planning to win the war. But I really don't know what to call ours. Our plan is to kill and win. We're further advaced than a lot of these other nations. That's one thing so awesome about this war. We have machine guns. It's so much faster than those rifles. I see everyone loading them. I can kill 20 people by the time they load the rifles.

This one is showing recruiting new marines, and it's showing catchy slogan because Teufel Hunden is German for, US Marines.
September 25, 1918- I believe Russia's exit and the United entry helped our chances of winning because mainly because we entered so late. But also I believe it increased our chances of winning because we didnt have to worry about fighting Russia. That's pretty cool.
November 11, 1918- Finally, the war ended today. We are all so happy. President Woodrow Wilson went to peace conference to help future wars from occuring. He had this thing called the fourteen points. I don't really remember them all so I wont put them on here. But There was this thing called "The Big Three" and it was France, US, and Britain. They all tried to get everyone else to agree with them. I think we, the United States, came out good. Because we didn't really have to agree with anyone except a couple nations. I just think all of us, that are here, alive, are just happy to be out of the war.
